New Delhi, Aug 24(HS):Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Delhi Assembly’s inaugural All India Speakers’ Conference today on Sunday, a two-day historic gathering of legislative speakers, chairmen, and deputy chairmen from across India. The event will spotlight parliamentary legacy with the release of a commemorative stamp honoring Vitthalbhai Patel, the first elected speaker, and an exhibition tracing the Delhi Assembly’s century-old history as the seat of India’s earliest parliamentary bodies.

The conference aims to foster discourse on democratic strengthening, transparency, and governance innovation, featuring discussions on digital tools including AI-enabled technology to enhance legislative efficiency.
