Bareilly, 23 Aug (HS): The biggest and historic export-import
workshop was organized for the first time in the city on Saturday. GFE Group in
association with Amit Shrivastava and Sharat Chandra Banerjee (Aroma Caterers,
Devdarshan Group) organized this grand event at IMA Hall. In the workshop,
students, professionals, small businessmen and entrepreneurs were made aware of
the nuances of global trade. It was told that an international level startup
can be set up even from a city like Bareilly. Detailed information was given on
One District One Product (ODOP), e-commerce platform, demand for organic and
herbal products and government schemes. Along with this, training was also
given on finding buyers, secure payment system, logistics and international
branding-packaging.
Vaibhav Sharma, CMD of GFE Group, said that this workshop will
prove to be a historic turning point for Bareilly and eastern Uttar Pradesh. His
aim is that the local youth and businessmen should not limit themselves to just
thinking, but should step into the international market and increase India's
business power. Bareilly, famous for earrings, is now moving towards making its
new identity on the global business map.
