Guwahati, 23 August (HS): On the occasion of National Space Day, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed pride in Bharat’s historic achievement of becoming the first nation in the world to successfully land on the Moon’s South Pole and operate a rover.
The Chief Minister lauded the journey of India’s space science, stating, “From Aryabhata to Chandrayaan and now towards Gaganyaan, our space scientists have always made the nation proud.” He described the feat as a symbol of Bharat’s extraordinary progress in the field of science and technology.
