Kokrajhar (Assam), 23 August (HS): The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) on released its first list of 18 candidates for the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections, 2025. The announcement was made under the leadership of UPPL President and BTC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Promod Bodo.

Party General Secretary Raju Kumar Narzari informed that the list includes Wilson Hasda (3 No. Srirampur), Saranjit Basumatary (4 No. Jamduar), Raju Kumar Narzary (5 No. Sorabil), Afjal Hoque Sarkar (7 No. Fakiragram), Rabiram Brahma (9 No. Banargaon), Ranjit Basumatary (11 No. Baokhungri), Lawrence Islary (12 No. Salakati), Saikhong Basumatary (13 No. Chirang), Chandan Brahma (15 No. Kajalgaon), Dhananjay Basumatary (18 No. Manas Serfang), Mantu Baro (22 No. Koklabari), Rakesh Brahma (24 No. Mushalpur), Kati Ram Baro (25 No. Baganpara), Jolen Daimary (26 No. Darangajuli), Rabin Bala Biswas (27 No. Nagrijuli), Pradip Narzary (29 No. Shuklai Serfang), Rujugwra Mushahary (37 No. Dhwnshri) and Dr. Nilut Swargiary (40 No. Rowta).

This is the first batch of candidates announced by UPPL, and the party is expected to release more names in the coming days.
