Guwahati (Assam), 22 August (HS): A theft was reported at the Nepali Mandir in Paltan Bazar area of Guwahati on Thursday night, reported on Friday. Thieves broke into the temple from the upper section and looted a large amount of cash after breaking open two donation boxes.

According to the Paltan Bazar police station in-charge, the entire incident was captured on the temple’s CCTV cameras. Police have launched an investigation and are conducting searches to nab the culprits.
