Aalo (Arunachal Pradesh), 22 August (HS): Local military authorities organized a Self-Defence Workshop for 120 girl students at Ramakrishna Mission School, Aalo. The programme was aimed at enhancing confidence, safety awareness and equipping young girls with essential self-defence techniques.

Army instructors conducted demonstrations of various martial arts skills and practical defence methods, allowing participants to learn through hands-on practice. The initiative not only boosted the confidence of the students but also strengthened the bond of trust between the armed forces and the local community.

Officials highlighted that such workshops are a vital step towards women empowerment, community engagement, and civil–military cooperation, fostering a safer environment for the younger generation.--------
