Nagpur, 22 Aug (HS): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

(RSS) has invited former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, for the

Vijayadashami programme to be held at Reshimbag Ground on Vijayadashami (Dushahara).

The Vijayadashami programme to mark victory for the ‘Satya’ and ‘Shakti Upasana’

was started by RSS Founder Dr K B Hedgewar

in 1925.

RSS Sarsanghachalak addressed the society on the day.

Ram Nath Kovind’s presence at the important function is considered an important

event. The RSS volunteers will attend the function in the Sangh’s uniform.

Earlier former President Pranav Mukherjee also attended the event in 2018.

Various prominent persons from different fields are being invited to the

function.
