Bhubaneswar, 21 August (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid heartfelt tribute to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kalyan Singh on his death anniversary.

Taking to social media, Pradhan described Kalyan Singh as a pioneer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and remembered him as a devoted leader whose life was deeply rooted in Ram Bhakti.

On the death anniversary of 'Padma Vibhushan' Shri Kalyan Singh ji affectionately known as 'Babuji' I pay my respectful tributes. He was a key figure in the Shri Ram Mandir movement and his historic contribution to the cause will never be forgotten, Pradhan wrote.

Highlighting Singh’s legacy, Pradhan added that as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Babuji worked tirelessly to ensure that welfare schemes reached the poor, farmers, youth, and the marginalized.

He further noted that Kalyan Singh played a crucial role in strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh by aligning the party with the sentiments of the people and laying a strong organizational foundation.
