Kolkata, 21 August (H.S.) BJP's strong leader and Asansol South MLA Agnimitra Pal was admitted to the hospital after her health suddenly deteriorated on Wednesday midnight. She had trouble breathing, after which she was taken to a private hospital in the bypass area. At present, her condition is said to be stable.

Notably, Agnimitra Pal has been continuously active since joining the BJP. She regularly visits her assembly constituency and also makes an active presence in the party's programs. There is concern among the family and supporters after her health suddenly deteriorated late on Wednesday night.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is supposed to visit Bengal on Friday. He will inaugurate the metro project as well as address a rally in Dum Dum. State BJP leaders have been invited to this programme. However, looking at Agnimitra Pal's health, there is a doubt whether she will be able to attend this programme or not. According to hospital sources, it may take some time for her to be discharged.
