Etah, 21 Aug (HS): Chief Minister
Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the
Samajwadi Party, saying that first India was looted by the Mughals, then the
British destroyed it and whatever was left, the Congress and the Samajwadi
Party created a new scene of devastation and created an identity crisis for the
country. Today, due to the clear intentions, clear policy and zero tolerance
towards criminals of the double engine government, Uttar Pradesh has reached
new heights of development. Chief Minister Yogi said this while addressing the
inauguration ceremony of Shri Cement Plant established at a cost of Rs 750
crore in Etah district.
Direct attack on Congress-SP: Chief
Minister Yogi said that whether it is Congress or Samajwadi Party, their intention
was never for the development of all. They took everyone along but developed
only their own family. During their time, neither the businessman was safe, nor
was the daughter safe. This was the reason that the country and the state kept
lagging behind. He said that today the Modi government and the double engine UP
government have given a new identity to the country and the state with the
mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
Mafia's stronghold has now become a
hub of investment: Yogi said that 8-9 years ago Etah was known as a stronghold
of crime and mafia. The poor's land was encroached, their grievances were not
heard. When the property of the citizen is not safe, then what will the
government do for his welfare? This was the situation then. Today Etah has
become a new identity of excellent law and order and investment. He said that
at the government level, 1500 MW electricity is being produced from Jawaharpur
Thermal Power Plant and next to it, Shri Cement family has set up a new plant
worth Rs 750 crore. This has provided direct employment to 500 people and
indirect employment to more than 3000 people.
New employment and business
opportunities: The Chief Minister said that this investment has not only
provided direct employment but has also provided employment to thousands of
people connected with transport, trade and distribution channels. This is the
foundation of self-reliant India; this is the foundation stone of developed
India. Remembering the Congress era, Yogi said that there was a time when cement
was available from control. If you had access, you could get a sack; otherwise
you had to buy it secretly. It was difficult to build a house. This was the
intention and policy of the Congress. How could development happen?
Etah's traditional identity from
ODOP: Chief Minister Yogi said that today Etah is known not only for cement and
power plants, but also for its traditional enterprise, the bells and ghungroos
of Jalesar. The worship of the Devasthan and the musical gathering, both are
incomplete without Jalesar. Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi has set the goal
of a developed India by 2047. In this sequence, UP will also have to develop.
There was a 24-hour continuous debate in the Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad,
sectors and themes were decided. Now experts will go to every district and
prepare the youth and a roadmap will be made with the suggestions of the
public.
The Chief Minister said that Shri
Cement is not just an industry but is also fulfilling a national
responsibility. The Etah unit alone has provided free cement to 183 martyr
families so far. CM Yogi said that when Indian soldiers defeated the enemies
with their valor and courage in Operation Sindoor, it was possible only when
the whole country stood united. Shri Cement's contribution strengthens this
national sentiment. He said that after Bulandshahr and Etah, Shri Cement has
set up a 40 MW green energy plant in Chitrakoot.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh
Government's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, former
minister and member of Legislative Council Dr. Mahendra Singh, MLA Satyapal
Singh Rathore, Sanjeev Kumar Diwakar, Virendra Singh Lodhi, Vipin Kumar David,
Ashish Yadav, Shri Cement Chairman Hari Mohan Bangad and Managing Director
Neeraj Akhouri were present.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the entire
plant before inaugurating the Shri Cement plant in Etah. During this, he also
took information about the machinery in the plant and its functioning. He was
also given information about the entire plant through the site map. During
this, CM Yogi also planted saplings in the plant premises.
