Dibrugarh (Assam), 20 August (HS): A shocking stabbing incident took place in Duliyajan last night at No. 1 Kathalguri tea garden under Bhadai police station.

According to reports, an argument broke out between two men while returning home after playing football, which escalated into a violent attack with a sharp weapon. Chandan Moura of No. 1 Kathalguri village allegedly attacked Puron Ghar of Berhampur village, leaving him seriously injured.

Police reached the spot and arrested Puron Ghar, who was found armed. Meanwhile, Chandan Moura, who was in critical condition, was rescued by police and rushed to Duliajan Oil India Hospital for treatment.
