Nanded, 20 Aug (HS):

The family members of the deceased in Nanded district were handed over

financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each by Disaster Management Minister

Girish Mahajan. Five people died due to floods in the Nanded district.

Piraji Mhaisaji Thotve (70), Chandrakala Vitthal

Shinde (35), Lalitabai Govind Bhosale (60), Gangabai Gangaram Madale (65), and

Bhimabai Hiraman Madale (65) died in the natural calamity. Their family members

received the cheques of Rs 4 lakh each.
