police booked the head, vice principal, and coordinator of a private
intermediate college on Wednesday for allegedly aiding suicide after the death
of a class 12 student. SHO Anand Dev Mishra told reporters that a case has been
filed against Rahul (principal), Dilshad (vice principal), and Sanni
(coordinator) of JK Academy Inter College in Durganpur village under Budhana
police station, after a complaint lodged by the victim's father. Vedpal, a
resident of Haryakhedi village, filed a complaint claiming that his son Bhim
(16) committed suicide at their residence on August 6. He said that his kid had
been beaten up by college officials earlier that day and was upset about the
continuous harassment. He also said that shame and pressure caused his son to
take extreme measures, such as hanging himself from the ceiling.
