South 24 Parganas, 20 August (H.S.) : A woman involved in an extramarital affair in Diamond Harbour, West Bengal, along with her lover, killed her three-year-old innocent daughter. On Tuesday, the police of Parulia Coastal Police Station arrested the accused mother Nazira Bibi and her lover Tajuddin Molla.

According to police sources, both the accused took the girl to Katrenikanya area of Andhra Pradesh and killed her there. At first they called it an accident, but the truth came out during police interrogation. During interrogation, Nazira and Tajuddin admitted that they wanted to start a new life, but they considered the innocent girl a thorn in their path. That is why both of them threw her and killed her. After the murder, the post-mortem was done in Andhra Pradesh itself and the body was buried.

Azhar Laskar, a resident of Sarisha Kamarpol village of Diamond Harbour, had lodged a complaint in the police station that his wife Nazira had fled with their daughter. Based on this complaint, the police started investigation and arrested the accused Tajuddin from Andhra Pradesh.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Diamond Harbour Police District Mithun Kumar Dey said, The mother conspired to kill her daughter only to settle down with her lover. Currently, Nazira is pregnant and is claiming that the child growing in her womb is Tajuddin's.

The entire area is shocked by this incident. The dead girl's father Azhar Laskar and his family have demanded the harshest punishment for the accused.
