Firozabad, 20 Aug (HS): The body of

the girl student was found soaked in blood in a field under Thana Jasrana area

on Tuesday. Her father had killed her by hitting her neck with an axe. It has

come to light that a love affair was the reason behind the incident. Police

arrested the accused father late on Tuesday night. Additional Superintendent of

Police (Rural), Triguna Bisen, while disclosing this, said that on Tuesday, the

body of a teenager Neha (17) from the same village was found in a field in

Nagla Jat village of Thana Jasrana area. She was murdered by slitting her

throat. Neha was a student of class 12th. In this case, the police station

registered a case and started investigation. The body was sent for post-mortem.

He said that during the investigation it was revealed that the teenager was in

a relationship with a young man from the neighboring village. Late on Monday

night, she had gone to the field to meet the young man. Meanwhile, her father

Indrapal reached the spot while looking for her. Seeing his daughter with her lover

in the field, he became furious and attacked his daughter's neck with an axe.

Due to which she died on the spot. ASP said that the accused father Indrapal

has been arrested. The accused has also accepted his crime. On his indication,

the axe used in the murder has also been recovered. Further legal action is

being taken by collecting other evidence related to the incident.
