In a historic stride towards strengthening India’s educational landscape, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Assam on the establishment of a new Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in the state.
In a post on X,PM wrote,Congratulations to the people of Assam! The establishment of an IIM in the state will enhance education infrastructure and draw students as well as researchers from all over India.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the creation of this premier institution will not only expand the frontiers of higher education in the Northeast but also transform Assam into a beacon of academic excellence. He underlined that the IIM will serve as a magnet for bright students, eminent scholars, and pioneering researchers from across the nation, thereby fostering innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial growth.
Responding to an announcement by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, who shared the development on social media, the Prime Minister remarked,
“Congratulations to the people of Assam! The establishment of an IIM in the state will enhance education infrastructure and draw students as well as researchers from all over India.”
