Trinamool workers reach APAS camp with party flag, BJP slams

Bankura, 19 August (H.S.) A controversy arose when some Trinamool Congress workers entered the 'Amader Pada Amader Samadhan' camp organised at the high school in Lotiyabani area of Gangajalghati block of Bankura district with the party flag.

The camp was organised to solve the problems of the people of local booths 259, 260 and 262, in which administrative officials including state minister Arup Roy and Bankura district officer Siyad N were present. Meanwhile, some Trinamool workers entered the camp with the party flag. However, the Trinamool leadership immediately sent the workers carrying the flag out of the camp.

The party's Gangajalghati-2 block president Jiten Garai said that this was not a part of any strategy, but some workers themselves reached there with the flag out of emotion, and they were immediately removed.

On this, BJP MLA Chandana Bauri said that this shows that 'the government and the party have now become one'. She said that the party is promoting itself through government camps run by the taxes of the common people, and this incident is an example of that.
