Nadia, 19 August (H.S.) In Shantipur area of Nadia district, a husband pulled out the ear of his wife when she opposed his extramarital affair. The victim is currently admitted in the hospital, and the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

According to local sources, there was no major problem in the domestic life between Tinku Devnath and his wife Shabari Devi earlier, but recently after Tinku's extramarital affair came to light, the tension increased. On Monday night, there was a lot of argument between the duo. Suddenly during the altercation Tinku pulled out his wife's ear. Hearing the screams, local people immediately reached and the injured woman was admitted to the hospital.

On Tuesday morning, the woman lodged a written complaint against her husband with Shantipur police station. The police is now searching for the accused husband.
