In this sequence, Tamulpur Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Pankaj Chakravarty announced the establishment of four auxiliary polling stations in the district.

Except for 29-Shuklai-Serfang (ST), auxiliary polling stations have been set up in 26-Darangajuli (ST), 27-Nagrjuli (Non-ST), 28-Gaibari (ST) and 30-Goreswar (ST) constituencies. With this, the total number of polling stations in the district has increased from 391 to 395.
