Kuala Lumpur, August 15 (HS): Indian football fans are in for a blockbuster clash as the draw for the AFC Champions League Two 2025-26, held on Friday, placed FC Goa in Group D alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s star-studded Al Nassr.

Group D promises high-octane action with four teams vying for the top spot — India’s FC Goa, Saudi giants Al Nassr, Iraq’s Al Zawra’a SC, and Tajikistan’s FC Istiklol. The face-off between Ronaldo’s side and the Goan club will be a marquee fixture of the group stage.

FC Goa secured their place in the competition after lifting the Super Cup title in May, which earned them a berth in the playoff round. They went on to beat Oman’s Al Seeb 2-1 in a tense qualifier to advance to the group stage.

With the draw now making headlines, anticipation is building for the day the Goan Gaurs line up against one of football’s biggest global icons, in what could be a defining moment for Indian club football on the Asian stage.
