New Delhi, August 15 (HS): The domestic bullion market saw gold prices dipping for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, while silver bucked the trend with a slight uptick.

Driven by sustained selling pressure, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,01,340 and ₹1,01,490 per 10 grams in most bullion hubs across India, while 22-carat gold hovered in the range of ₹92,890 to ₹93,040 per 10 grams.

In contrast, silver prices recorded a marginal rise, with the shining metal commanding ₹1,16,100 per kilogram in Delhi’s bullion market today.

City-wise snapshot:

Similar price patterns were reported from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, where 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,01,340, and 22-carat at ₹92,890 per 10 grams.

Analysts say the recent softness in gold is in line with global cues and easing investment demand, although the steady silver prices hint at firm industrial demand.
