New Delhi, August 13(HS): Under the floodlights of the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday night, the East Delhi Riders pulled off a nail-biting five-wicket victory over Purani Dilli 6 in the second edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL).
Chasing a challenging target of 183, the Riders got off to a flying start courtesy of a blistering 149-run opening stand between Arpit Rana and Sujal Singh. Arpit dazzled the crowd with a swashbuckling 87 off just 52 deliveries, while Sujal anchored the innings with a well-crafted 59 from 46 balls.

For the Riders, speedster Navdeep Saini was the pick of the bowlers, delivering a disciplined spell of 2 for 22 in his four overs.
