A case of love jihad has come to light in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where a Muslim
youth trapped a Hindu girl in his love-web by posing as a Hindu. After this, when
the truth came out, he made the girl's photo and video viral and threatened to
marry her forcibly and kill her. On this, the victim narrated her ordeal to her
family and the family reached the Mauranipur police station. Bajrang Dal
workers have also demanded action from the police in the above case. They filed
a complaint and demanded legal action. The police has taken cognizance of the
matter and registered a case and started investigation.
A BTC student from
Mauranipur Kotwali and town Mauranipur was trapped in the love trap of Muslim
youth Afroz, resident of Kadambali of Mauranipur, posing as Hindu Sameer Arya.
He also sent proof of being a Hindu to the girl through a photo. After this,
the conversation between the two increased. And he took her into confidence and
looted her dignity. But when the truth came out, the girl stopped talking and
said to stay away. After which the accused youth threatened to make the photos
and videos viral and forcibly marry her. Not only this, he also threatened to
implicate the family by committing suicide. The victim's family told that the
said accused youth reached the victim's house today and while talking about
marrying her forcibly and making the photos and videos viral, he threatened to
commit suicide by eating poison in front of the house. And in no time, he tore
the packet of poison and put it in his mouth. The girl's family brought him to
the health center. There it was found that the said youth was trying to create
pressure by doing a drama of eating poison. After that, the victim's family
reached Mauranipur Kotwali. And by giving a petition to the police station
in-charge, demanded legal action.
Bajrang Dal's district
coordinator Rohit Kushwaha reached the spot with his workers and demanded legal
action from the police in the said case. However, the police did not show any
clear stand in the matter. CO Mauranipur Manoj Kumar Singh said that the girl's
mother has filed a complaint. The boy and the girl became friends through
Facebook. Both were in close contact with each other. A case has been
registered on the basis of the complaint. The accused has been arrested.
Investigation is underway.
