Lucknow, 11 Aug

(HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday before the start

of the monsoon session that the UP Legislative Assembly has achieved many

achievements in the last eight years. It has worked to move forward by

discussing issues related to the public. We have arrived here to attend the

monsoon session with an important agenda to fulfill the aspirations of 25 crore

population.

The government will answer all the questions related to the public

of the members. Apart from this, the work done by the government in the field

of education and health in eight years will also be discussed. Yogi Adityanath

said that the Legislative Assembly of UP is the largest legislature in the

country. The discussions that take place here on issues related to the public

and development are seen as an example in the country. The Chief Minister said

that with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Uttar Pradesh

government is moving forward with the vision of 'Developed UP' to realize the

resolution of self-reliant India and developed India. This vision has been

prepared with the cooperation of NITI Aayog and experts, in which participation

of every section of the society will be ensured. He said that on the upcoming August

13 and 14, this vision will be discussed in the House for 24 hours

continuously. The Chief Minister said that all the leaders have agreed on this

in the all-party meeting. He stressed that this discussion will not only take

place in the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, but the opinion of

the general public will also be included in this vision document. He said with

confidence that by 2047, when India will become a developed nation, Uttar

Pradesh will also be ready as 'Developed Uttar Pradesh'. He said that we will

welcome all the proposals that will come for discussion in the House. We are

committed to the interests of the youth, development of UP and fulfilling the

aspirations of the public. The public itself will answer those who create

unnecessary disruptions.

Special focus will

be on flood, health and education: The Chief Minister said that seasonal issues

like flood and waterlogging will be discussed in the monsoon session. Apart

from this, there will be in-depth discussion on topics related to health,

education, infrastructure, poor welfare and upliftment of all sections.

Referring to the achievements of the government in the last eight and a half

years, he said that Uttar Pradesh has received praise at the national and

international level in the field of development.

Chief Minister

targeted the opposition: Chief Minister Yogi targeted the opposition, especially

the Samajwadi Party, saying that their agenda is focused on negativity rather

than development. He said that earlier when we had extended the proceedings for

36 hours, even then the SP opposed it and used unparliamentary words, for which

they are already notorious. He appealed to the opposition to participate in

positive and development-oriented discussions.

The proceedings of

the UP Legislature are an example for the country: The Chief Minister described

the UP Legislature as the largest legislature in the country and said that the

discussions held here become an example for the entire country. He said that in

the last eight and a half years, the UP Legislature has achieved many

achievements and has held meaningful discussions on issues of public interest.

This time too, we have attended the session with an important agenda to fulfill

the aspirations of a population of 25 crores.

Chief Minister

welcomed all the members: Chief Minister heartily welcomed all the Vidhan Sabha

and Vidhan Parishad members from across the state and gave his best wishes for

the success of the session. He said that this session will be an important step

towards the development and prosperity of Uttar Pradesh.
