Kolkata, 11 August (H.S.): R.G. Kar Medical College victim's mother was seriously injured in the alleged assault by police during Nabanna Abhiyan organised on Saturday on the first anniversary of rape and murder of the female doctor. Allegedly, the RG Kar victim's suffered serious head injury in police lathicharge and the Shankha-Pola worn in her hand broke.

After this incident on Saturday, the victim's father has now started preparations to lodge an FIR against Kolkata Police. He told on phone, FIR will be lodged today on Monday evening against the brutal beating by Kolkata Police on Saturday. He also clarified that the FIR will not be lodged by going to the police station personally, but online.
