Srinagar, 11 August (H.S.): The Chhari Mubarak (holy mace) of Shri Amarnath Ji which started its return journey from Panchtarni early this morning after performing darshan at cave shrine yesterday reached Pahalgam base camp this evening via Sheshnag and Chandanwari camps.

Led by Mahant Deependra Giri Ji the holy mace will perform religious rituals at the bank of river Lidder and also hold immersion ceremonies of relics in the river tomorrow as per the age old tradition.

This will be followed by serving of traditional Prashad (Kaddi Pakoda) to Sadhus and devotees. The True Trust founded by Mahant Deependra Giri Ji has made all the arrangements. Later the Chhari Mubarak will leave for its abode Dashnami Akhara Srinagar. With this the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji will culminate.

Meanwhile, the annual pilgrimage to the Pracheen Amarnath cave shrine (Choota Amarnath) at Thajiwara, Bijbehara, held from 6 August 2025 to 10 August 2025 also culminated today.

The arrangements for the pilgrimage were made by the Vijeshwar Devasthan Trust, tehsil Bijbehara.

Over the course of the yatra, devotees and yatris participated in spiritual ceremonies and darshan at the revered Chota Amarnath shrine. In addition to the main pilgrimage, the yatris visited several other historic and sacred sites, including Harishchander Ghat Shiv temple – National Highway, Bijbehara, Mata Jaya Devi Shrine – Krewa, Bijbehara, Vijaya Devi Asthapan – Bijbehara, Martand Sun Temple – Mattan, Anantnag, Amarnath yatra culmination shrine Navdal (Tral) etc.
