Kamrup (Assam), 10 August (HS): In a tragic road accident on the Rani-Tinia road in Nishah Palashbari, two people lost their lives and two others were critically injured. The accident occurred when a Royal Enfield bike (AS-01-FR-6114) collided head-on with a scooter (AS-25X-0453).

The deceased have been identified as Jintu Das and Dhiraj Mali, who killed on the spot. Pakhir Kalita sustained serious injuries, while a pedestrian, Jyotish Das, was also injured in the incident.
