Ballia,
10 Aug (HS): 'I am Dayashankar Singh. I am not going to be afraid of the BSP
MLA's threats,” said Ballia city MLA and Yogi cabinet minister Dayashankar
Singh in response to BSP MLA Umashankar allegations on Sunday. He challenged
the BSP MLA that if he is involved in corruption then come and speak in the
assembly session, kicking off from Monday. Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh
was furious after the new bridge built on NH 31 in Ballia was inaugurated in
the dark of the night without informing. He vented his anger on the PWD AE and
targeted BSP MLA Umashankar Singh without naming him. Since then, a verbal war
started between the two leaders which has now turned into sharp words. On BSP
MLA Uma Shankar Singh saying that 'If I expose the truth then there will be no
place to hide', Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh while talking to
reporters on the sidelines of a programme on distribution of relief material to
flood victims in Town Hall on Sunday said that if he (Uma Shankar Singh) has
evidence and if he says that if he will expose me then we will run away, then
he is the leader of the opposition and has the right to speak in the House too.
He is the leader of the House, he should speak in the Assembly, tell the people
of Ballia. Don't give false threats. I am Daya Shankar Singh. I am not going to
get scared like this. Don't mislead the public. I challenge you to show me
whatever evidence you have of my corruption.
