Indore, August 10 (HS): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat will participate in two major events in Indore today (Sunday). From 9 AM to 5 PM, he will address the ‘Malwa Province Social Harmony Meet’ at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Scheme No. 78, interacting with invited intellectuals on the “Five Pledges” (Panch Pran) and delivering a message of unity and social harmony.
Organized as part of the RSS centenary year under the “Five Transformations” initiative, the meeting will focus on themes such as adopting a self-reliant lifestyle, family values, environmental protection, civic discipline, and social equality. Around 300 representatives from 15 districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions will attend. The discussions will take place in three sessions, with Bhagwat addressing the concluding session to guide participants on nation-building through self-awareness and finalizing future plans.
Following the harmony meeting, from 5 PM to 7 PM, Dr. Bhagwat will inaugurate the first phase of a cancer care hospital at the ‘Madhav Srishti Arogya Kendra,’ a project of Shri Guruji Seva Nyas. The ₹96-crore project is being built in two phases, with the first phase — costing about ₹26 crore — now complete. It includes two basements, a ground floor, and three upper floors. The second phase will involve installing high-tech medical equipment and completing additional floors. The hospital is being built with public contributions and corporate CSR donations.
Dr. Bhagwat arrived in Indore on Saturday night and stayed at the RSS office ‘Sudarshan’ in the Pantvaid Colony area.
