Tripling on bike turns fatal, 3 killed after colliding with electrical pole under Khakhreru police station area

10 Aug (HS): Three people, including two cousins, who were returning home on a

motorcycle after getting a Rakhi tied from their sister's in-laws' house, died

on the spot after colliding with an electric pole on the roadside near Tendua

village in Khakhreru police station area in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh

on Sunday. Police reached the spot as soon as they got the information and sent

the bodies for post-mortem.

Manjeet

Yadav (19) son of Vijaypal and Ankush Yadav (20) son of Harishchandra,

residents of Kanwar Majra Nanka Ka Purwa village in the Kaushambi district,

were cousins. Along with them, their cousin Anil Yadav (22) son of Jaipal, a

resident of Ghulampur village, all three had gone on the same motorcycle to

visit their sister's in-laws in Tenduwa village in the Khakhreru police station

area on Saturday evening.

While

returning from there to Kaushambi, they reached near Mubarakpur Geria turn of

Khakhreru police station area on Kanwar-Rakshapalpur road, when the speeding

motorcycle lost control and collided with an electric pole standing on the

roadside. In this accident, all the three youths suffered serious head

injuries. All the three youths died on the spot. Police informed the family

members about the incident.

Police

station incharge Vidya Prakash Singh said that the youths riding a high speed

motorcycle collided with an electric pole. The motorcyclists were not wearing

helmets. Due to this, all three youths died due to serious head injuries. The

bodies have been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Further necessary

action is being taken.
