West Bengal, 10 August (H.S.) Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari has been accused of misbehaving with the police during the Nabanna Abhiyan on Saturday. Trinamool MP from Serampore Kalyan Banerjee has made this allegation on Nandigram BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari. He said that with the grace of the High Court, people are seeing how big a criminal the leader of the opposition in the assembly may be. The High Court should also see it.

On Sunday, Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee alleged at his residence at Ganga Darshan in Serampore that anarchy was spread in the name of Nabanna Abhiyan on Saturday. The BJP has destroyed government property. He said that the anarchy spread under the leadership of Suvendu Adhikari in the name of Nabanna Abhiyan is unimaginable. A lot of criminal activities have taken place. Police were beaten up, government property was destroyed. Suvendu Adhikari himself instigated it. He used very abusive language. Justice Rajasekhar Mantha had given the verdict in favour of Suvendu Adhikari. As a result of which Shubhendu Adhikari is committing criminal acts one after the other. The language he is using is very bad. He is calling me a son of a pig.

Kalyan said that such words should not be spoken in politics. Such people should be wiped out from West Bengal. Thanks to the High Court, people are seeing how big a criminal he may be. The High Court should also look into this.
