Bhubaneswar, 1 August (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has extended his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for the approval of the 3rd and 4th rail line between Dangoaposi and Jaroli. The project, sanctioned under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, is poised to significantly enhance regional connectivity and economic activity, particularly in Odisha’s tribal and mining regions.
In a social media post, CM Majhi described the initiative as a key step towards creating employment opportunities, strengthening logistics, and accelerating development in resource-rich but underserved areas of the state. He emphasized that this milestone is a reflection of the double engine government model delivering double vikas fast-tracking Odisha’s progress towards a Samruddha Odisha (Prosperous Odisha) and a Vikshit Bharat (Developed India).
The new rail lines are expected to ease transportation bottlenecks, boost industrial growth, and facilitate smoother movement of goods and passengers, thereby contributing to the overall socio-economic upliftment of the region.
