Durgapur, 1 August (H.S.) West Bengal Governor C.V. Anand Bose suddenly reached Durgapur's Benachiti market on Friday morning. People present there were surprised and happy to see the Governor in the market.

The Governor first tasted tea in a kulhad at a tea stall. After that he talked to many vegetable vendors and bought vegetables. While talking to the shopkeepers, he said, I have come to the market... I have come to understand the problems of the people... I have seen a lot, understood a lot... appropriate steps will be taken on this basis. After completing his vegetable purchase, the governor distributed chocolates among the vendors and left the market for his destination.
