New Delhi, July 9 (H.S.): Apple Inc. has appointed Sabih Khan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective at the end of this month, succeeding Jeff Williams. Khan has been with Apple for three decades and currently serves as the vice president. He joined the executive team as Senior Vice President of Operations in 2019.
Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, praised Khan as an exceptional strategist and a key architect of Apple's supply chain, playing a vital role in addressing global challenges. Born in 1966 in Uttar Pradesh, India, Khan completed his early education in Singapore and later moved to the U.S. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, having previously worked at GE Plastics before joining Apple in 1995.
