Bhubaneswar, July 8 (H.S.): Shri Manmohan Samal is poised to be officially announced as the new State President today, having been the only candidate to file a nomination for the position. Central Observer and Bihar MP Shri Sanjay Jaiswal will make the formal announcement of Shri Samal’s appointment, along with the names of the elected National Council members, at 11 AM.

The nomination process for the State President and National Council members, overseen by National Election Officer Dr. K. Lakshman, concluded yesterday. Shri Manmohan Samal submitted his nomination as the sole candidate for State President, while all nominees for the National Council also completed their nominations.

Any objections to the nominations were reviewed at 10 AM today, and the final results will be disclosed at 11 AM, officially confirming Shri Manmohan Samal as the next State President.
