Balrampur,
8 July (HS): Jalaluddin alias Changur,
accused of converting Hindu families, has built a luxurious mansion in Madhpur,
Uttaraula, illegally. Tehsildar Uttaraula issued two eviction notices on Monday
and warned to remove the construction within seven days. One notice was issued
on May 17 and the other on May 26. Tehsildar SP Prajapati said on Tuesday that
the notice on which the eviction was done has been pasted. Notices were sent
several times in the past, but no one opened the gate. Therefore, the notice
issued earlier has been pasted. According to the report of the revenue team, a
house has been built on Gata number 337/370 in Madhpur in the name of Neetu
Rohra. The land on which the construction has been done is barren land, which
has not been allotted to anyone. The construction is not legal. The land is
also not approved for residential use. The building constructed from this
should be removed immediately.
The administration team reached Changur's house with
police force around 6:30 pm on Monday evening and pasted the eviction notice on
the gate. Inspector in-charge Awadhesh Raj Singh said that security has been
increased in Madhpur after the eviction notice. The Tehsildar said that if the
encroachment is not removed within seven days, the administration will demolish
the encroachment on its own level.
Protest against posting of notice: After the
administration's action, the people living in Changur's luxurious mansion
expressed their anger. Changur's daughter-in-law Sabira came out for the first
time and accused the administration that the children are scared of the police
action. The inspector in charge of the case said that the allegation is
fabricated.
Sikh and Sindhi community erupted in anger against
illegal conversion: People of Sikh and Sindhi community have expressed anger
against the conversion of non-Muslim girls in the state by luring them. People
of the community have demanded Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to identify those
making such nefarious attempts and take strict action against them. They have
demanded death penalty for the criminals plotting conversion.
ATS is investigating UAE's network: ATS is
investigating the UAE (United Arab Emirates) network of Neetu Naveen Rohra, a
close associate of Changur Baba. In fact, Neetu, who has passed class 7,
traveled to UAE 19 times from 2014 to 2019, the reason for which has not been
revealed yet. Similarly, Naveen Ghanshyam Rohra also traveled to UAE 19 times
between 2016 and 2020. Despite being husband and wife, both of them went together
only once on April 8, 2017, but returned separately. If sources are to be
believed, Changur Baba's gang also has a network in UAE.
It was also certified by Dubai Government: Naveen
Ghanshyam Rohra, Neetu Naveen Rohra and Samale Naveen Rohra were converted on
November 16, 2015 at Al Farooq Umar Bin Kitab Center in Dubai. This was also
certified by the Dubai government. However, their passports were not verified
on examination that they had visited Dubai, due to which it is feared that the
members of Changur Baba's gang have also got passports made in different names.
Officials suspect that the gang was running a conversion racket at the behest
of organizations in Gulf countries. Evidence has also been found that its
network is spread in many other states besides UP.
