Chennai, 6 July (H.S.): A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Tamil Nadu where a 3-year-old child lost their life after being run over by an autorickshaw. Although specific details about the incident, such as the location within Tamil Nadu, are not available, a similar incident was reported in Karnataka's Vijayapura where a 3-year-old boy was killed by an autorickshaw while crossing the road in Basavana Bagewadi taluk.
These incidents highlight the importance of road safety, especially for young children. Parents and caregivers must ensure that children are closely supervised when playing outside, especially near roads. Authorities should also take measures to improve road safety, such as installing speed bumps and increasing surveillance in areas with high foot traffic.
In related news, other tragic incidents have occurred in Tamil Nadu. For instance, a 15-year-old boy died after his two-wheeler collided with a government bus in Tirunelveli, and a 65-year-old man died after being brutally assaulted by his son in Perambalur. Additionally, a fire broke out at a private hospital in Dindigul, claiming the lives of six people, including a 3-year-old boy.
