6 July (HS): On the occasion of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee's birth anniversary,
the country recalls his pioneering work in educational reform, industrial
strategy, and the battle for national unity.
His legacy includes fighting Bengali separatism, Article 370, and
Aatmanirbhar Bharat. To honor his birth
anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined the country in
paying a modest homage to his staunch protector of national unity and cultural
heritage. In a statement on X, he stated that having two constitutions, heads,
and flags in a same nation is unsustainable.
“This was the life commitment of the great leader Dr. Shyama Prasad
Mukherjee, who worked tirelessly for a unified India.
Humble
tributes to the founding president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, a strong
nationalist thinker and the immortal martyr of Kashmir integration, revered Dr.
Mukherjee ji on his birth anniversary! Your life is the unbroken light of
national unity, education and nationalism, which will continue to give
direction to the generations of India,” he posted on X.

Adityanath also paid homage to Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan
Ram on his death anniversary via a post on X, “Synonymous with courage and
struggle, former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram dedicated his entire
life to the empowerment of the deprived and the exploited. He did the
commendable work of binding every section of the society in the thread of
equality. He was a pioneer of social justice in the true sense. Today, on his
holy death anniversary, a humble tribute to him!”
He
also extended greetings to people of state and nation on the auspicious occasion
of Devshayani Ekadashi via a post on X, “The holy date of Devshayani Ekadashi
is the day of worship and adoration of Lord Shri Vishnu, the savior of the
animate and inanimate world. We pray to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the master of
the three worlds, the controller of the world, that his blessings and mercy
remain on the entire world, that there should be happiness, peace and good
health in everyone's life.”
