6 July (HS): In CCTV footage, the milkman is seen climbing steps to the

residence carrying a can of milk. After

ringing the bell, he looks around before spitting into the can. Enraged by the milkman's actions, the client,

Luv Shukla, said that he usually offers milk to Lord Shiva.

A milkman in Lucknow was recorded spitting

into milk, causing fury in the locality.

Enraged by the milkman's actions, customer Luv Shukla said that he uses

milk on a daily basis as a sacrifice to Lord Shiva. Shukla requested harsh punishment, claiming

that the man's actions had harmed his religious beliefs. In the CCTV clip, the milkman is seen

climbing the stairs to the residence carrying a can of milk. After ringing the bell, he looks around

before spitting into the can. According to accounts, Pappu had been spitting

into Luv Shukla's milk on a daily basis, generating suspicions of spit

jihad. Following the event, Shukla's

family filed a complaint with the Gomti Nagar police station. During the inquiry, it was discovered that

the man's true identity was Mohammad Sharif, and he had been selling milk under

the nickname Pappu. After learning about

the event, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha members assembled at the police station

and demanded harsh punishment for the culprits.

Shishya Chaturvedi, the organization's

national spokesperson, stated that spit jihad is widespread and

that those who engage in such crimes should face charges under the National

Security Act.

He

went on to say that the event was especially significant because it happened

during the ongoing Kanwar Yatra, when milk is commonly utilized to honor Lord

Shiva. CCTV film has been

recovered, apparently showing the milkman spitting in the milk. Senior local police officer Shashank Singh

stated that the police are now conducting an investigation and would take

suitable measures.
