6 July (HS): RPF jawans arrested Mohammad Aamir, accused of pelting stones on
Vande Bharat Express, from near Alambagh West Cabin in Lucknow. During
interrogation by RPF, Aamir has confessed to pelting stones on Vande Bharat
Express. On 28th June, stones were pelted on bogie C-11 of Ayodhya-Anand Vihar
Vande Bharat Express.
At that time, Vande Bharat Express was passing through
Alambagh and the glass of the express train broke due to stone pelting. Due to
which the passengers travelling in the express were terrified. A passenger also
made a video of this and posted it on social media. RPF goods warehouse
in-charge Radheshyam Sharma said on Sunday that Mohammad Aamir, a resident of
Anwarganj police station area of Kanpur, has been arrested in the stone
pelting case on the express.
Five cases including murder and POCSO Act are
registered against him in Anwarganj police station. Aamir is being sent to jail
after taking further action in the stone pelting case on Vande Bharat Express.
