Lucknow, 04 July (HS): The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday
organized a massive and impressive road show in the capital Delhi to showcase
the preparations for the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025 on the
national stage. This event is an important milestone towards realizing the
resolve of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to put Uttar Pradesh on the global
trade map. Organized in collaboration with India Exposition Mart Limited
(IEML), this road show showcased UP's industries, export sectors and local
products in an attractive manner to international buyers, business
representatives and embassy officials.
Presented a mirror of export vision: Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan, who was
presiding over the program, said that UPITS 2025 is not just a trade show, but
a global showcase of the power, tradition and innovation of every district of
Uttar Pradesh. It is a mirror of the state's export vision, which is getting
new dimensions under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi. Principal Secretary
MSME and Export Promotion Department Alok Kumar said that with every edition,
UPITS is becoming a bridge in connecting local businesses to global markets.
Now is the time for UP's products to become global brands and this road show
shows our confidence in that direction.
UP is becoming a reliable sourcing destination for global buyers: Dr. Ajay
Sahai, Director General and CEO of Federation of Indian Export Organizations
(FIEO) said that Uttar Pradesh is now becoming a reliable sourcing destination
for global buyers. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, co-organizer of India Exhibition Mart
Limited and UPITS, described it as a shared global glimpse of products from
every corner of the state. Diplomatic representatives, export organizations,
procurement consultants and industry experts from countries like Austria,
Canada, Vietnam, Singapore, Norway participated in the road show. B2B meetings,
ODOP exhibition, export promotion zone and the theme of the upcoming trade show
'Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here' were presented in detail.
After Delhi, road shows will also be held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and
Bengaluru: To make the third edition of this UP International Trade Show to be
held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September 2025 even more
impressive and international, road shows are to be organized in other parts of
the country as well. After this event in New Delhi, road shows are also
proposed in states like Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Under
this, road shows can be organized in Hyderabad on July 11, Bengaluru on July
18, Mumbai on July 25 and Ahmedabad on July 30. The aim of this mega event is
to present the business, cultural and innovative power of Uttar Pradesh on the
global platform. This trade show will open the doors to new opportunities in
the field of investment, export and entrepreneurship.
