Bhubaneswar, 4 July (H.S.) The Odisha Vigilance has arrested Sri Dileswar Majhi, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the Titlagarh R&B Sub-Division under the Kantabanji R&B Division, Bolangir, in connection with a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case. He will be produced today before the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance Court, Bolangir.

“The arrest follows extensive searches conducted at multiple locations linked to Sri Majhi. The investigation revealed that he was in possession of assets grossly disproportionate to his known sources of income. The assets unearthed during the raids include:Four buildings one market complex, nine high-value plots, approximately 300 grams of gold,bank deposits exceeding ₹49.45 lakh, cash amounting to ₹6.57 lakh” read a press release issued by Vigilance department on Friday.

Sri Majhi was reportedly unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for the source of these assets.

In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance Police Station has registered Case No. 13/2025 under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
