Solapur, 04 July (HS): The last date to apply for

insurance under the Prime Minister Horticulture Insurance Scheme has been extended up to July 6

from June 30.

The insurance for Guava, Sweet lime, and Lemon crops can

be opted by the farmers. The last date has been extended as many farmers could

not apply due to technical problems in the scheme’s portal.
