Jammu, 31 July (H.S.): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) J&K unit Darshan Rana today visited village Muzaffarpur falling under Bishnah Assembly constituency and listened to people’s problems and assured them that he would get them resolved soon by reaching out to the officials of the concerned departments.
He was accompanied by several senior party leaders. During his visit the people of the village informed BSP JKUT chief about the problems of the village and said that the condition of the link road leading to the village has been bad for a long time, which is not being paid any attention by the concerned department and the MLA. He said that the condition of the link road leading to the village has been bad for the last 15 years and the officials of the R&B Department have been informed about this problem many times, but despite this, there is no improvement.
The people demanded that the main road leading to the village should be repaired as soon as possible. Apart from this, the people of the village also gave detailed information to the BSP chief about other problems and said that most of the people in the village belong to the Dalit community and they are being constantly ignored.
Rana contacted the officials of the R&B Deptt RS Pura Sub Division and appealed that the road of the village should be paved as soon as possible because the people of the village have been ignored for the last 15 years. He also demanded that the development of the rural area should be taken on priority. Full attention should be paid to this plea so that people can get better basic facilities. Party state secretary, Tilak Raj Bhagat was also present on the occasion.
