New Delhi, July 30 (H.S.): During the Rajya Sabha discussion on Operation Sindoor, RJD member Manoj Jha criticized U.S. President Donald Trump, likening him to the negative traits of Chacha Chaudhary from comics. He demanded a resolution condemning Trump’s unilateral statements and labeled him the biggest liar of the century. Jha emphasized the collective grief caused by the Pulwama attack, which affected 26 families but resonated with the entire nation. He questioned why the government failed to act if intelligence agencies had prior knowledge, highlighting a lapse in national security. He argued that the pain of the attack reflects the sorrow of all Indians, urging the House to collectively apologize for these incidents.

He called for a commitment to national security beyond mere slogans, stressing its moral obligation. Jha pointed out that in the aftermath of Pulwama, people in Kashmir united in mourning, indicating their integral role in the nation. He criticized the government's lack of respect for the elected government in Kashmir, advocating for the restoration of its rights. Jha asserted that India's influence emerges not only from military might but from moral strength and humanity, invoking the Bandung Conference of 1955 as a historic moment that has been neglected.

He lamented the absence of commemorative programs for this significant event and remarked on the need for maturity in democracy, underscoring the distinction between government criticism and military commentary. In closing, he expressed a desire for a nation proud of its military representation, highlighting the roles of Col. Sofiya Qureshi and Wg. Cmdr. Vyomika Singh in national discourse.
