New Delhi, July 30(HS): Global markets are showing mixed signals today. The American market experienced a downturn, with the Dow Jones closing down 200 points and the S&P 500 declining by 0.30 percent to 6,370.86 points, while the Nasdaq fell by 0.38 percent to 21,098.29 points. In contrast, Dow Jones futures are up 0.14 percent at 44,697.21 points.
European markets were bullish, with the FTSE index rising by 0.60 percent to 9,136.32 points, the CAC increasing 0.72 percent to 7,857.36 points, and the DAX gaining 1.02 percent, closing at 24,217.37 points.
Asian markets are exhibiting mixed trading as well, with five out of nine indices in the green. The GIFT Nifty is down 0.04 percent at 24,829 points, the Straits Times index has dropped by 0.34 percent to 4,215.24 points, the Hang Seng index fell by 0.49 percent to 25,400 points, and the Jakarta Composite decreased by 0.53 percent to 7,577.81 points.
Conversely, the Nikkei is up by 0.03 percent at 40,688 points, while the Taiwan Weighted index gained 0.88 percent to 23,404.98 points, and the KOSPI, SET Composite, and Shanghai Composite indices also posted gains.
