Jorhat (Assam), 3 July (HS): Assam's Titabar police arrested three youths with drugs during a raid operation in Mahimabari Chatrashala area of Barhola police station area. The action was taken under the leadership of Titabar's sub-district police officer Tarun Goyal and Barhola police station in-charge Bipul Gogoi.

Police said on Thursday that the arrested accused have been identified as Mukul Bora, Yadumani Sakia and Rubul Bora. This hostel is located on the border of Golaghat and Jorhat districts.

It is reported that this area - especially the two-kilometer long deserted road adjacent to Kakadonga embankment - had been a hub of drug consumption and other anti-social activities for a long time. During the day, drug addicts used to take drugs here, while illegal activities were carried out at night.-------------
