Lucknow,

03 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that in

our culture, lakhs of saints have emerged from all sections of society. Our

greatest saint is Valmikiji. All saints recite Ram Katha from the Ramayana

written by him. Ram Katha should not be discussed by taking the name of a

particular caste. Minister Dayashankar Singh said some people do not want peace

in the state. They want to take the state back to the same anarchy that

prevailed during the Samajwadi Party government. These people want to push the

state into anarchy with their statements. “Any person from any community can

narrate religious stories. This is what I believe,” he opined.

In

response to the question about revealing identity of food sellers in the month

of Sawan, he said that what is the problem in revealing the name. We are

ministers so we also have to show our cards. We are asked for our cards, we

also show our cards. Hiding the identity is wrong and if someone does something

wrong then the government will be responsible for it. Due to this, no one

should have any difficulty in revealing his identity.
