Jammu, 3 July (H.S.): J&K BJP President Sat Sharma chaired an organizational meeting of the BJP Mahila Morcha, led by its President Sanjita Dogra at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

BJP Vice-President and Mahila Morcha Prabhari Anuradha Singh Charak, BJP Secretary and Morcha Seh-Prabhari Veenu Khanna, Morcha General Secretaries Neha Mahajan and Reema Padha, along with other members of the state team and District Presidents of Morcha participated in the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma commended the tireless efforts of the Mahila Morcha cadre and appreciated their grassroots connect and impactful outreach. He said that the role of women in Indian politics is undergoing a historic transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“From the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill granting 33 percent reservation to women in legislatures, to the launch of landmark schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, and Mission Shakti, the Modi Government has set unprecedented benchmarks in women-centric governance,” he said.

Sharma urged the Mahila Morcha team to further intensify their efforts and reach out to every woman at the booth level to spread awareness about the welfare schemes introduced for their benefit. “It is our duty to ensure that the benefits of these transformative policies reach the last woman in the line,” he added.

Sanjita Dogra presented a detailed account of the ongoing organizational and outreach activities undertaken by the Morcha. “Our cadre is actively working in every district, especially focusing on women beneficiaries of central schemes. We are committed to strengthening the party’s base through our consistent presence and service,” she stated.

Anuradha Singh Charak, while addressing the team, said that the women are the backbone of the BJP’s social fabric, and their increasing participation reflects the trust reposed in the party’s vision.

Veenu Khanna emphasized that the BJP Mahila Morcha is not just an organizational wing, but a movement of empowered women determined to build a stronger nation.
