Nagpur’s IM Divya Deshmukh became India’s 88th Grandmaster at 19 after a decisive World Cup win in Batumi. Achieving the GM title requires three GM norms from FIDE-approved tournaments and surpassing a 2500 Elo rating, making it one of chess's toughest milestones.
